Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Does Printcisely.com claim or reserve the right to patent the objects shared by makers?
Answer: No. Your ideas and creations are yours alone and we thank you for sharing with our community. We may use the objects that you share to promote the Printcisely community through online, social, and traditional media. Even then you still retain your rights as the inventor/creator of your object.

Question: Is Printcisely.com free to use?
Answer: Yes it is free to join and free for makers to share and download 3D objects, participate in forum discussions, and blog.

Question: Do I need to register for the forums to post and reply to topics?
Answer: If you already have a maker account, you are already registered in our forums. Makers can use the same account across our entire site and services. If you don’t have a maker account you can create one and after you have activated your account you will have full access to the forums.

Question: I can't sell anything due to restrictions on my account, why is that?
Answer: Maker's that wish to be sellers must complete their profile with a valid PayPal email address (in order to accept payment), full name and address (for security), and set their feedback to publicly viewable. If you have these profile items in place and are a maker in good standing, you will be able to list items for sale.
